Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Lead Start-Up Engineer to join our North America team, with on-site roles in Green Bay, Wisconsin or Biddeford, Maine. You will lead start-up activities for tissue machine projects, check-out against drawings and technical documentation, and serve as Valmet’s representative to the client.

In the Site phase you coordinate checkout, develop ECOs, schedule tools and resources, report progress to the Site manager and Project/Installation managers, and support the transition to

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate project start-up activities.
• Strong preference for project management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%+ and work on-site in NA.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up activities for own project scope on site.
• Coordinate checkout and ECO creation; schedule tools/equipment.
• Report progress to Site/Installation/Project managers; manage deviations.
• Support handover to Service Organization and performance trials if required.
