Job summary

Saber Power Services, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Lead, Standards & PLM Integration to govern engineering standards and product definitions across the lifecycle. You will integrate PLM with CAD, document management, estimating, procurement, and project systems to improve design consistency and execution quality.

You will partner with engineering leaders to develop, review, and maintain controlled standards, train teams, and drive continuous improvement in digital engineering and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Typically 5+ years in engineering design, configuration management, PLM/PDM, or technical documentation
• Experience managing engineering configuration control, revision management, or product lifecycle processes
• Strong technical writing, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines while maintaining document control

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and governance of engineering standards and design libraries
• Manage configuration control, revision management, and product lifecycle processes
• Structure and maintain product data, assemblies, specifications, and attributes in Arena PLM or similar
• Collaborate with discipline leads to develop and maintain controlled standards and documentation
• Coordinate engineering change management, deviations, obsolescence, and releases
• Align PLM data with CAD, document management, estimating, procurement, and project systems
• Develop procedures, templates, and training materials for consistent engineering practices
• Incorporate lessons learned and continuous improvement into standards and content
• Evaluate opportunities to improve governance and digital workflows
• Perform other duties as assigned
