Job summary

The Alden Network in Chicago seeks a skilled nurse to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards and to facility policies to maintain high quality care.

You will work with seniors in a supportive environment and must hold an active RN or LPN license with CPR, and demonstrate leadership, English proficiency, and decisive judgment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• Must possess a current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
