Qualifications

• Proven experience leading SRE or DevOps teams in fast-growth environments.
• Deep expertise designing, deploying, and operating highly available cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in Golang or similar languages for infrastructure automation.
• Strong observability knowledge with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with incident management and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Toronto SRE team from the ground up, hiring and setting the bar.
• Contribute hands-on to reliability work in early stages and drive business impact.
• Mentor a high-performing team across the Americas and Europe.
• Architect scalable cloud-native systems using Kubernetes and Golang.
• Own monitoring, incident response, and blameless post-mortems.
• Drive automation and self-service tooling to improve developer experience and reduce toil.
• Define, track, and report on SLOs/SLIs, advocating for best practices across architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Support on roadmap readiness.
