Job summary
Anza Mortgage Insurance Company in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems on AWS. You will lead a team of SREs, implement automation, and drive operational excellence across monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization.

Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- BS/BA is required; MA is preferred for advanced roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of SREs including FTEs and contractors.
- Define tasks, review PRs, and provide feedback.
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
- Automate provisioning with Terraform/Terragrunt.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost with engineering teams.
- Drive infrastructure improvements and best practices.
- Establish disaster recovery plans for uptime.
