Job summary

Anza Mortgage Insurance Company in McLean, VA is hiring a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS, with a focus on reliability, performance, and developer productivity.

You will lead SREs, implement automation with Terraform, Terragrunt, Argo CD/Workflows, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with software teams to reduce incidents and cost while improving deployment speed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading SRE teams and designing scalable cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SREs including FTEs and contractors.
• Define tasks, review PRs, and provide feedback.
• Design scalable, secure AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for system health.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to improve deployments.
• Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Drive reliability improvements and optimize costs.
• Establish disaster recovery plans and ensure uptime.
