Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is seeking a Sprinkler Technician to support mission-critical facilities in secure environments across Virginia and Maryland.

The ideal candidate holds NICET Level III or IV in Water-Based Systems, 5+ years of hands-on sprinkler experience, and a strong knowledge of NFPA standards; ability to read blueprints and work under strict IC security rules.

Qualifications

• NICET Level III or IV certification in water-based systems required.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with water-based sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair water-based fire protection systems (wet/dry/pre-action/deluge).
• Prepare inspection and deficiency reports; document maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fire protection drawings.
• Ensure NFPA and AHJ compliance; operate within IC security protocols.
• Coordinate with facility managers, engineers, and security personnel in secure environments.
