Job summary

The Accelerated Schools in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist to support students across three campuses. The SLP will supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants, assess and treat communication disorders, and collaborate with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Valid California Speech License.
• Valid California Speech-Language Specialist credential or Clinical/Rehabilitative Services Credential (with Language, Speech and Hearing added authorization).
• Spanish Language Fluency (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise SPLAs and oversee screening, evaluation, and therapy for students with communication disabilities.
• Coordinate therapy programs and report progress to school personnel and IEP teams.
• Administer, score and interpret assessments; determine eligibility and develop treatment plans.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student progress and needs.
