Qualifications
Graduate of an approved school of Communication Disorders holding a Master's Degree or higher.
Current CA SLP license. Recent board-eligible graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR).
Fire Safety card required within 90 days of start date.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities.
Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopy.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques.
