Job summary

A healthcare organization in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist responsible for assessing and treating communication disorders in clients of all ages. This role involves conducting evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care. Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of Communication Disorders holding a Master's Degree or higher.
  • Current CA SLP license. Recent board-eligible graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR).
  • Fire Safety card required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities.
  • Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopy.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques.
