Job summary

Lifelong Learning's Alta Vista Innovation High School in Los Angeles seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support district students with speech and language needs. You will screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, and participate in IEP planning and progress reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with a CA SLP credential, in a full-time role traveling among regional sites and collaborating with teachers to integrate language skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in SLP or Communicative Disorders.
• Valid CA SLP credential or equivalent certification as eligible.
• Experience in K-12 settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, ASHA standards, and teletherapy is a plus.
• Ability to travel between sites within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and full assessments of language and speech.
• Develop and implement IEP-aligned goals and services.
• Deliver therapy in collaboration with teachers and families.
• Attend IEP and team meetings and document progress.
• Maintain organized treatment records and compliance with laws.
