Job summary

Bronte Health & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to lead and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services for residents. The role emphasizes planning, evaluating, and improving services in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities include coordinating KPI reporting, developing processes, ensuring equipment is properly stored and sanitized, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings while maintaining professional relationships

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted license in your therapy discipline in the state.
• Meet educational requirements of licensure.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services.
• Coordinate achievement and reporting of key performance indicators for the SLP/auD department.
• Develop and implement processes and systems to lead and direct services.
• Evaluate and report KPI outcomes to the rehabilitation director.
• Provide resident information for assessments and prior functioning in cognition.
• Ensure SLP/Audiology equipment is stored, used, and sanitized properly.
• Participate in daily/weekly/monthly rehab and inter-disciplinary meetings.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, employees, and families.
• Maintain accountability with standards of practice and codes of conduct.
