The Washoe County School District is seeking a Paraeducator Assistant III in Special Education. The role provides instructional support, assists with lesson planning and material preparation, and helps maintain student records under supervision.

HQ qualifications include 48 college hours or a higher degree, or corresponding ParaPathways/ParaPro scores. Benefits and Grade 19 pay scale apply.

Competenze

• 48 semester hours or higher degree from an accredited college or university; or, an associate's degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
• Passing ParaPathways with reading/writing score 332+ and math score 334+; or,
• Passing ParaPro Assessment by ETS with a score of 455+.

Mansioni

• Assist teaching staff in a variety of classroom and related areas; assist in preparing lesson outlines and plans in assigned areas; assist in planning, preparing and developing teaching aids; present subject matter to students using various methods within traditional or non-traditional settings; assist students individually or in groups with assignments; observe progress and refer to classroom teacher as needed.
