Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) seeks a seasoned RF Analyst to support space-based RF communications systems across US government customers. The role covers RF analysis, simulations, and development with interoperability across programs, and requires an active security clearance.

Responsibilities include analyzing transmitters/antennas, performing trade studies, and supporting test campaigns in internal and external labs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 9+ years of experience in RF analysis or related field.
• MS with 13+ years of experience in RF engineering or communications.
• BS with 15+ years of experience in RF design and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide RF analyses of existing transmitters, receivers, and antenna designs.
• Support RF subsystem trade studies and test campaigns in labs.
• Perform link margin analyses under varied modulation and environments.
• Write design and analysis reports and present milestones to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in reviews and planning.
