Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs of relevant laboratory experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Associates degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of staffing, education, competency and quality improvement.
• Fill in staffing gaps and guide workflow including HIS and LIS systems.
• Create staff schedules and manage changes to assure coverage.
• Assist in vacation approvals and timecard adjustments.
• Provide orientation, training and coaching for performance improvement.
• Coordinate morgue activities and related autopsy processes as needed.
• Ensure adherence to budgets, policies and quality goals.
