Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking a Head of Specialty Exposure Management to oversee non-natural catastrophe modelling across lines of business. You will lead a team of analysts, drive pre/post-bind modelling, portfolio production, and reporting, while collaborating with underwriting to optimize capacity.

The role requires a quantitative degree and 10+ years in catastrophe modelling or exposure analytics, with strong SQL and AI/ML familiarity to advance portfolio insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; quantitative/actuarial/science/risk discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of catastrophe modelling, exposure management, or portfolio analytics experience.
• Experience with Specialty lines (Casualty, Professional Lines, Crisis Management, Marine, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ascot’s View of Risk for non-natural catastrophe classes.
• Lead the Exposure Management team in daily activities and reporting.
• Partner with underwriting to optimize exposure capacity.
• Oversee data standards and data quality in exposure management.
• Present exposure and modelled loss positions to senior stakeholders.
