Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking a Head of Specialty Exposure Management to lead a team delivering non-natural catastrophe modelling, portfolio analytics, and regulatory reporting across multiple lines of business. You will collaborate with underwriting to optimize capacity and drive data-driven decisions.

You will guide analytics strategy, validate models, and expand AI-driven capabilities while ensuring governance and high-quality outputs for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; quantitative, actuarial, scientific, engineering, risk management or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in catastrophe modelling, exposure management or portfolio analytics in insurance or reinsurance.
• Experience with Specialty lines (Casualty, Professional Lines, Crisis Management, Marine, etc.).
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate teams and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ascot’s View of Risk for non-natural catastrophe classes across lines of business.
• Lead the Exposure Management team in daily activities, modelling, portfolio production and reporting.
• Partner with underwriting to optimize exposure capacity on a risk-adjusted basis.
• Manage relationships with outsourcing partners and ensure quality service delivery.
• Establish and improve data standards to support exposure management analysis.
