Nordstrom in Durham, NC is hiring a Manager in Training to lead a store unit. You’ll coach, mentor, and drive customer experience while delivering business results.

You’ll complete a comprehensive training program, hire and develop a team, implement store strategy, and manage costs while keeping customers happy. A background in fresh beverages/food and strong service mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge about fresh beverages and quality food, with a keen interest in learning more.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Thrived in a fast-paced environment and embraced a flexible schedule.
• A food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
• Solid communications skills and basic accounting skills.
• Specialty Coffee only: 2+ years in coffee bar management.
• Restaurant only: 2+ years in full service, upscale restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive Manager in Training program that covers all the ins and outs of running a successful unit.
• Hire, train, manage and motivate a crew to consistently serve up amazing customer service.
• Support the success of your unit by keeping our customers happy, implementing the store strategy, complying with company procedures and keeping productivity up and costs down.
