Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Lead SPD Technician to supervise Sterile Processing Department operations across our Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey ambulatory surgery facilities. The job blends hands-on sterile processing with administrative leadership to support high‑quality patient care and operational excellence.

The role requires CRCST upon hire, BLS within 6 months, and preferred CIS/CER/CHL certifications, plus PA clearances by start date.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead SPD staff and oversee sterile processing operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Nemours policies.
• Coordinate with perioperative teams and vendors on equipment and instrument needs.
• Maintain SPD inventory and instrument tracking system (SPM).
• Assist with QA and weekly/monthly reporting.
• Participate in candidate interviews and onboarding for SPD staff.
