Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Chantilly, VA to lead full cycle PCB design for spacecraft and related systems. You will collect requirements, design schematics, select components, oversee layout, bring-up, test, and integration, while mentoring the team.

You’ll drive high-reliability, manufacturable assemblies and apply space-grade standards, working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance required.
• 20+ years in hardware product development with 10+ years in space flight hardware.
• Ability to read schematics and apply best practices for space flight hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design market-leading hardware products with cross-functional teams.
• Lead design reviews and mentor the team through cradle-to-grave space hardware development.
• Oversee PCB layout, bring-up, test, and integration with spacecraft systems.
• Develop system electrical designs and supervise or mentor junior engineers.
• Perform root-cause analysis in support of production operations.
