Job summary

Anduril Industries in Chantilly, VA, is seeking Circuit Designers to own full cycle PCB design for spacecraft and related systems, from requirements derivation to bring-up and integration. You will work with a cross-functional team to implement high-speed digital, RF, and low-power designs, and participate in design reviews; experience with Altium is required.

U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in electrical / computer engineering or similar field.
• 2-8 years of professional hardware product development.
• Basic PCB layout knowledge for space flight requirements.
• Ability to read schematics and apply best practices.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, MIPI CSI-2 interfaces.
• Familiarity with MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies.
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics.
• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a cross-functional team to design market leading space flight hardware and associated ground equipment products.
• Implement product components through rapid prototyping, design verification, and space qualification activities.
• Learn and apply modern space-flight hardware design standards for high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies.
• Implement combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and ultra low-power designs.
• Participate in peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews and collaborate with other EEs on your team.
• Low level firmware development for bring-up and test.
• Root cause investigation data collection and analysis in support of production operations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects and changing timelines.
