Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Spacecraft Data Systems Engineer based in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing robust data architectures for spaceflight, connecting data flows to spacecraft operations, and ensuring successful command and telemetry management.

The position requires deep expertise in spacecraft systems, with responsibilities spanning data architecture development, management of Command and Telemetry Databases, and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for safe human spaceflight, as well as proficiency in key programming languages.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in spacecraft development and operations.
• Proven experience with spacecraft flight software design and architecture.
• Experience with Command and Control (C2) or Flight Software (FSW) software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Command and Telemetry Database and development.
• Manage data for uplink to the spacecraft and telemetry downlink.
• Define data architecture strategies for effective data management.
