Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an Experienced Space Systems R&D Electrical Engineer to support space system modeling, component design and testing, and interpretation of results for national security space customers. Expect to generate space electronics models, lead fault-tree development, and guide radiation testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide modeling of space electronics sub-systems for space system modelers.
• Design, build and test space electronics components at the board level.
• Develop space electronics fault trees to inform fault testing.
• Provide guidance on radiation effects and testing for space electronics.
• Collaborate across modeling and hardware build/test to deliver space flight hardware.
