Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque invites a Systems Engineer to join the USNDS Space Force program. You will work on antenna systems, satellite interfaces, and complex architectures to support national security missions.

The role requires hands-on hardware troubleshooting, collaboration with technical leads, and strong communication across multidisciplinary teams; travel and onsite work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with five years of directly relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze, maintain, and repair custom-designed hardware.
• Work with technical leads to track progress, resolve issues and support system reviews.
• Collaborate with the Lead Systems Engineer to define and clarify project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform requirements definition, verification and validation, map and allocate, downlink, interface control document review and management.
• Define acceptance criteria for subsystems and perform technical reviews on project documents.
