Job summary

Blue Origin in Cupertino, CA seeks a senior technical leader to own the TeraWave Space Sustainability Strategy, ODAR, and ODM, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment as the program matures. Relocation is provided and travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, astrodynamics, systems engineering, or equivalent field.
• 10+ years in spacecraft systems or orbital mechanics with regulatory experience.
• Experience engaging with regulatory bodies and writing technical compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Own the TeraWave Space Sustainability Strategy and related documents.
• Lead regulatory engagement with FCC and other bodies on debris and space traffic.
• Architect space traffic coordination strategy and data systems.
• Define end-to-end collision risk mitigation and orchestration with teams.
• Embed safety and sustainability requirements early in system design.
