Lunar Outpost in Golden, CO, is seeking a Lead Harnessing Engineer to own the EWIS architecture for lunar and spaceflight programs. You will lead the harness design across flight systems, prototypes, and ground support equipment, ensuring safe, reliable interconnects for human-rated and robotic missions.

Collaborating with mechanical and systems teams, you will drive requirements, schematics, harness layouts, and installation documentation, while mentoring junior engineers and guiding reviews

Qualificações

• BS in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with 8+ years in harnessing.
• Experience leading harness design for complex aerospace systems.
• Hands-on HV/high-power harnessing (>120 VDC or kW-class).
• NASA programs experience with flight hardware preferred.
• Strong grounding, shielding, power distribution and signal integrity knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Lead harness architecture, design, and integration across vehicle levels.
• Own end-to-end WIS/EWIS development including schematics and wiring lists.
• Define harness architectures for high-voltage and high-power systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering on routing and packaging.
• Review drawings, pinouts, and installation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NASA/industry standards.
• Interface with NASA customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Oversee fabrication, inspection, integration, and testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews.
• Support configuration management and verification docs.
