The role spans analogue and power electronics, RF-related design, and spacecraft electrical power systems, requiring strong hands-on engineering and mentoring of junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Direct experience developing electronics for space, satellite, spacecraft, or flight hardware.
  • Strong analogue electronics, power electronics, or RF-related design experience.
  • Experience with spacecraft electrical power systems, EPS, PPU, DC-DC converters, or power conversion systems.
  • Experience taking electronics from prototype through fabrication, qualification, production, and customer delivery.
  • Understanding of radiation hardening, rad-hard design, qualification requirements, and space electronics standards.
  • Experience working with Class III or Class 3 space electronics manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong hands-on engineering judgement across testing, validation, reliability, and production transition.
  • Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Willingness to relocate for the right long-term opportunity.
  • Electric propulsion or spacecraft propulsion electronics experience.
  • Satellite power electronics or EPS ownership.
  • Radiation testing, radiation tolerant design, or rad-hard component selection.
  • Vacuum-chamber or thermal-vacuum testing.
  • Environmental testing including vibration, shock, thermal cycling, or reliability testing.
  • IPC, NASA, or space electronics manufacturing standards.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or acting as a technical lead.
  • Experience moving electronics into repeatable production.
  • Background from new-space, satellite primes, propulsion companies, or space power specialists.
  • Technical conference participation or paper presentation experience.

Responsibilities
