Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Lead Test Engineer to guide electrical integration and test activities across spacecraft, launch vehicle, and avionics systems. You will lead test plan development, readiness documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure safe, efficient campaigns.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in aerospace testing, strong leadership, and expertise in electrical troubleshooting, schematics, and data systems. This on-site role may require travel and offers relocation support.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace/Electrical/CS or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of applicable aerospace test experience.
• Experience leading complex aerospace test campaigns.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interface control documents.
• Strong collaboration across avionics, software, GNC, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical integration and test activities for spacecraft, launch vehicle, and avionics systems.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and readiness docs.
• Operate test consoles and coordinate with internal customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and environmental/functional testing.
• Mentor junior test engineers and lead risk reviews.
• Drive test campaign planning and daily execution.
