Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an experienced Components Engineer or Reliability Engineer to support space and terrestrial programs. The role is hybrid and based at Mercury locations such as Huntsville, VA, CA, or MA, with every other Friday off.

You will lead EEE parts engineering, document PMP activities, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance and successful program outcomes. Strong DoD clearance is preferred and required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor in STEM and 5–6+ years in defense/electronics.
• Experience as a lead component engineer on defense/aerospace/space programs.
• Familiar with MIL/ASTM/SAE/NASA specs and environmental testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead EEE parts or materials and processes engineer on multiple programs.
• Lead component reviews and assessments for compliance in space and military programs.
• Collaborate with customers, agencies, and cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues.
