Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an experienced Components Engineer to support a broad set of space and terrestrial programs. The role involves leading part selection, environmental requirements, and part qualification activities within a hybrid work environment across Huntsville, AL or other locations.

The position requires a strong background in MSIP/NSPAR processes, MIL specs, and RF/embedded hardware readiness, with a DoD security clearance preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant defense/electronics experience or 5 years plus a master’s degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead electrical/EEE parts or materials engineer on multiple programs.
• Lead component reviews, analyses, and PMB compliance for space and terrestrial programs.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve supply chain issues and ensure document PMP activities.
