Position: Lead Spa Massage Therapist

In this role, you will assist guests with their comfort in a courteous and professional manner while performing massage therapy services. You will support and lead the massage therapist staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, sanitation, proper procedures, and spa profit maximization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years in massage therapy practice or resort spa experience
• Shiatsu and Thai massage certification preferred
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
• Effective English communication skills
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift, walking and standing
• Massage therapy certification (state and local)
• Availability to work weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver training in massage therapies and body treatments
• Assist in product dispersal and upkeep
• Participate in interviewing new therapists
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to staff
• Propose and develop new protocols
• Demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service
• Assist in recruitment and staff relations
• Maintain technical procedures and equipment safety
• Support sales and product training initiatives
• Ensure adequate coverage and staffing
