In this role as a Lead Spa Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for assisting with guests' comfort in a courteous and professional manner while performing all massage therapy services. You will support and lead the massage therapist staff in guest satisfaction, safety, sanitation, proper technical procedures, and spa profit maximization.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of massage therapy practice or experience in a resort spa. Shiatsu and Thai massage certifications are preferred. Previous customer service experience is also preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The candidate must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with guests and staff. The role requires the ability to work a full 8-hour shift, walking and standing, with or without reasonable accommodation. The candidate must hold current state and local massage therapy certifications and be able to perform body treatments and massages, maintaining treatment rooms and supplies. Availability to work weekends and holidays is necessary.
