Qualifications

• Proven culinary expertise as a Sous Chef in an upscale, high-volume environment.
• A passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
• Leadership skills and commitment to maintaining the highest culinary standards.
• One year of prior culinary supervisory experience in a hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train Team Members by providing feedback and modeling tasks.
• Conduct interviews following proper hiring procedures.
• Work all stations in the Back of House to assist team members.
• Create, cost, and prepare daily specials.
• Communicate daily specials and shift priorities to all Team Members.
• Monitor restaurant operations and ensure standards are executed.
• Ensure sanitation procedures are in place and the restaurant is clean.
• Set up kitchen with necessary tools and materials.
• Delegate closing and cleaning duties to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Inspect and perform inventory levels of storage areas.
• Monitor product quality and vendor services.
• Assume Chef’s duties in the absence of the Executive Chef.
