Morrison Healthcare in Raleigh, NC, part of Compass Group, is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef - Hourly at WakeMed Raleigh. You will support the Executive Chef, coordinate cooks, and ensure production standards are met in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

We require prior lead cook experience, with a schedule that is full-time and may vary by day. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for growth within a nationwide healthcare team.

• Supervises hourly food service associates.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviews, scheduling, payroll and training.
• Stores food following food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
