Job summary

COREcruitment partners with a busy, high-energy Asian American restaurant in Dedham, MA to find an experienced Sous Chef to join their culinary leadership team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced operation where quality, consistency, and strong leadership are essential.

You will work closely with the Head Chef on daily kitchen operations, manage prep, production, inventory, and training, and help drive a smooth, high-energy service while maintaining food safety and robust culinary

Qualifications

• Previous Sous Chef or strong culinary leadership experience.
• Experience in busy, full-service restaurant environments.
• Strong background in Asian, Asian-American, or globally inspired cuisine is an asset.
• Understanding of ordering, inventory, labour, and food cost.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef with all day-to-day kitchen operations
• Ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and execution
• Working stations and jumping in wherever needed during busy services
• Managing prep, production, ordering, and inventory
• Training and developing cooks while maintaining high culinary standards
• Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Helping maintain a positive, professional, and high-energy kitchen culture
