Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Saint Marys, PA is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in preparing meals and coordinating kitchen activities. You will supervise cooks and food-service staff, ensure recipes and production standards are met, and uphold sanitation, food safety, and quality controls during service hours.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, managing workflow, and maintaining inventory while providing excellent service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking and supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including scheduling and training.
• Stores food safely and maintains sanitation/food safety procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and assists with inventory and waste tracking.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and communicates with supervisor.
