Kirkwood, an upscale dining concept opening in Houston, seeks a passionate Sous Chef to join our New Restaurant Opening team. You will help build the culinary program from the ground up, bringing creativity, leadership, and operational excellence to our city’s newest dining destination.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef, oversee kitchen operations, mentor the culinary team, and contribute to menu development, seasonal features, and guest experience.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong kitchen leadership in upscale or fine dining.
• Solid culinary foundation with passion for innovation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and hands-on leadership style.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and compliance.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Availability including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Mansioni

• Support the Executive Chef in leading all back-of-house operations.
• Oversee daily prep, production, and service for consistency and excellence.
• Train, mentor, and inspire culinary team to perform at the highest level.
