Job summary

The Palm Steakhouse in Florida is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. In this high-volume, fine-dining environment, you will lead daily kitchen operations, mentor culinary staff, and uphold exceptional food quality and consistency.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in precision, execution, and creating an environment where talented culinary professionals can grow within a legendary steakhouse brand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Culinary Management in upscale/fine-dining
• Back-of-house operations including staff supervision, inventory controls and food/labor cost, and product quality
• Strong communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Stable, progressive work history and strong work ethic
• Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations in an upscale, fine-dining setting.
• Mentor and develop culinary team members; support Executive Chef.
• Aim to achieve/beat budgeted labor and cost centers through planning and execution.
• Oversee weekly/monthly inventories and food/supplies ordering.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and OSHA-compliant work area.
