Compass Group USA, via Eurest, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef in Grapevine, TX. The role supports the Executive Chef, oversees cooks and food-service staff, and ensures recipes and production standards are met with strong leadership.

The position starts with a 5:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule, Monday through Thursday. A minimum of three years of culinary lead experience is required, with eligibility for internal referrals.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of culinary lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following all safety procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; tracks production, consumption and waste.
