Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in South Western Oregon is seeking a Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations across the restaurant, banquets, and special events.

You will mentor staff, step in for the Chef, and drive quality, cost control, and sanitation while delivering unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. This role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and a flexible schedule with evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience: at least 2 years in kitchen with supervisory/management roles.
• State or Serve Safe certification in food safety.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Professional and positive demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food production for restaurant, banquets, and events.
• Lead kitchen operations when the Chef is away.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff; foster collaboration.
• Ensure dishes meet flavor, presentation, and cost standards.
• Assist with inventory, pricing, and cost controls.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and kitchen conditions.
