Job summary

TridentCare located in James City, Pennsylvania is looking for a dedicated professional to manage a regular scheduled case load and assist in the technical training of both new and existing staff. This role requires expertise in handling ultrasound equipment and addressing any clinical or technical issues that arise.

The ideal candidate must hold ARDMS or CCI certification, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a good driving record. Responsibilities also include managing staff schedules and responding to operational complaints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular scheduled case load when not assisting Technical Supervisor.
• Assist in the technical training for new hires and existing staff, as needed.
• Assist in the management of designated technical staff scheduling.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment problems and advise or initiate a service call.
• Provide resources for other sonographers when clinical or technical issues arise.
• Respond to any issue(s) or complaint(s) arising from a facility.
• Act as a backup for any STAT request if needed.
• Escalate issues to the director of ultrasound as necessary.
• Participate in the field orientation of new sonographers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular scheduled case load when not assisting Technical Supervisor.
• Assist in the technical training for new hires and existing staff, as needed.
• Assist in the management of designated technical staff scheduling, inclusive of regular schedules, on call schedules, holiday schedules, vacation schedules and other coverage issues.
• Expected to troubleshoot minor equipment problems and advise or initiate a service call as needed.
• Acts as a resource for other sonographers when clinical or technical issues arise.
• Responds to any issue(s) or complaint(s) arising from a facility, by being proactive in providing an immediate solution.
• Acts as a backup for any STAT request if a field sonographer in his/her area is unable to respond or report to the ordering facility.
• Escalates any issue(s) to the director of ultrasound as needed.
• Participates as needed in the field orientation of new sonographer.
• Required to perform other duties as needed.

Skills and Experience

• Must have and maintain ARDMS or CCI certification.
• Must have and maintain a valid state‑issued Driver’s License.
• Must have and maintain a good driving record.
