Job summary

The Lead Sonographer will lead and mentor staff, ensuring credentialed requirements and participation in annual evaluations. ARDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular are required, with a CAAHEP-certified program or equivalent and eight years of paid scanning experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified by ARDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-approved program or equivalent; strong on-the-job training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasounds and related modalities.
• Lead and manage the department work areas as Lead Sonographer.
• Mentor and educate staff; ensure credentialed qualifications are met.
