Job summary

UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT is seeking a Senior Sonographer to join a patient-centered Ultrasound Team. The role requires advanced imaging skills, teaching duties, and involvement in policy development.

The successful candidate will hold two ARDMS subspecialty certifications (abdomen or OB-GYN) and have at least three years of ultrasound experience, with strong commitment to training associate sonographers.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent, CAHEA/JRCT program completed.
• Three years of ultrasound training in a clinical setting.
• ARDMS certification in two subspecialties (abdomen or OB-Gyn required).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and complex ultrasound examinations.
• Demonstrate advanced skills and teach fellow sonographers and students.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, standards, and quality assurance in Ultrasound.
• Train Associate Sonographers as needed.
