Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Lead Solutions Marketing Manager to develop industry- and segment-focused positioning, content, and sales enablement for the Lumen Security portfolio. You will translate insights into compelling solution narratives and collaborate across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations to drive go-to-market success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in solutions/segment/industry marketing, product marketing, content marketing, or related B2B tech role.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity topics (network security, SASE, DDoS, threat intelligence, cloud security, zero trust, security operations).
• Strong writing and storytelling skills; ability to translate complex tech into customer-facing content.
• Solid understanding of customers, markets, and go-to-market strategy; turn insights into messaging and content.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop priority industry and customer-segment messaging, narratives, and content that connect Lumen solutions to challenges and business outcomes.
• Translate complex cybersecurity and technology capabilities into clear value propositions, use cases, proof points, and differentiated stories.
• Create market-facing content such as solution briefs, eBooks, whitepapers, research, presentations, and web content to support go-to-market priorities.
• Develop sales enablement content to help sellers understand customer challenges and the value of Lumen solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is accurate, relevant, and aligned with broader priorities.
• Continuously incorporate market and customer insights to strengthen messaging and use cases.
