Qualifications

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical adoption strategy for AWS Context, determining which use cases, industries, and customers to prioritize and orchestrating the evaluation motion other Solutions Architects execute.
• Lead the highest-stakes customer engagements personally, framing undefined problem spaces with customer architects and executives, designing agentic solutions that leverage governed context across AWS Glue Data Catalog, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Simple Storage Service, Apache Iceberg, Amazon Athena, Amazon Bedrock knowledge bases, and Lake Formation.
• Establish reusable mechanisms, reference architectures, and standards that raise the bar for the team org-wide, codifying what works from field experience into artifacts that accelerate future engagements and ensure consistency.
• Influence the AWS Context service roadmap as a strategic partner to product and engineering teams, synthesizing field learnings into succinct business and technical requirements and contributing to early product formation.
• Build external technical thought leadership through content creation and speaking engagements that position AWS Context in the market, mentor and develop senior Solutions Architects, and contribute to hiring strategy.
