Job summary

SS&C Advent in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to partner with SalesConnect to design and implement AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency and client outcomes. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, evaluate opportunities, and architect scalable workflows from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, business process optimization, automation, or technology consulting.
• Experience implementing workflow, RPA, AI, or digital productivity solutions in a business environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quantify business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
• Experience documenting business requirements, process maps, and solution designs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to assess operational challenges and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Analyze current-state workflows and design future-state processes focused on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to SalesConnect leadership on technology and process innovation opportunities.
• Establish best practices for automation development, AI utilization, and solution lifecycle management.
• Manage solution implementation plans, risks, dependencies, and success metrics.
