Wellington Management is seeking a Solution Architect, Technology to lead architecture for multiple products and platforms. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure designs, partner with Product Owners and engineers, and guide delivery while aligning with enterprise standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration, strategic planning, and governance to balance immediate delivery with long-term platform evolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution/ platform architecture, or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing, and observability.
• Ability to design secure, scalable, highly available and resilient solutions.
• Familiarity with architecture governance and technology standards.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for one or more products, platforms, or domains.
• Translate business goals into end-to-end solution architectures across teams.
• Define data flows, integration patterns, and service interactions between systems.
• Ensure designs meet security, resiliency, performance, and cost constraints.
• Provide architectural artifacts and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and enterprise architects to guide delivery.
