Job summary

Gridworks is looking for a Construction Manager to lead renewable energy projects, including solar PV and battery storage. You will oversee all construction phases, safety, and risk, ensuring quality delivery across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include supervising field and subcontractor teams, reviewing budgets and schedules, and driving compliance with safety standards while coordinating with site leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years construction experience (Required).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures.
• Understanding of both residential and commercial construction industry.
• Must understand construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment with multiple team members.
• Ability to adjust personnel and equipment resources to resolve construction problems and avoid delays.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all aspects of construction projects from contracts, engineering, and planning to implementation and delivery to customer.
• Supervision of all project management and field personnel, subcontractors, and key personnel on site; manage construction activities from start to finish.
• Resolve issues related to plans, specifications, or unknown conditions by coordinating with engineering and construction teams.
• Organize and manage staff, contractors, and schedules for construction projects.
• Prepare and review documents such as SOWs, prime and subcontracts, purchase orders, reports, and budgets.
• Provide input for budgets and track KPIs.
