Job summary

Walbec Group employs professionals to deliver high-quality solar construction projects across the Midwest. The role leads projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring profitability and alignment with company processes.

You will drive scheduling, budgeting, client communications, and subcontractor coordination. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in solar or related fields, a relevant engineering or construction degree, and strong Excel/BIM tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in solar construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independent and autonomous management of solar construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Manage project scheduling, financial reporting and budget management.
• Lead client and subcontractor communications and meetings.
• Track field productivity, safety issues, and project claims as needed.
• Travel overnight 3–4 days per week throughout the Midwest.
