Gardner Energy is hiring a Solar Installer II to support installation and commissioning of commercial and residential solar systems. The role collaborates with crew, foremen, and superintendents to deliver safe, high-quality installations on schedule.

This position emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and effective communication with customers and vendors. You will travel to job sites, work outdoors, and lead installers on specific tasks while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in solar and renewable energy.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Comfort working at heights and on rooftops.
• Provide own hand and power tools.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Install solar PV systems including racking, modules, DC wiring and components according to plans.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean jobsite.
• Lead team of installers on specific tasks.
• Travel to job sites and work outdoors on rooftops.
• Support continuous improvement of installation processes.
• Communicate with team, foremen, customers and vendors.
• Maintain job site organization and professionalism.
• Perform daily job site assessments and safety meetings.
