Sunrun in Massachusetts is seeking a Lead Installer to join a solar installation crew. You will work with a team to complete residential solar installations, while guiding and coordinating fellow installers daily.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and leadership; you may serve as acting Foreperson, with 5% travel. Requires high school diploma and prior solar experience, plus a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous solar installation experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass driving background check.
• Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers and coworkers.
• Willingness to participate in Power+ cross-training.
• Works independently or as part of a team; drives results.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules and components per plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structures.
• Assemble racking, modules, panels or supports as specified.
• Ensure a clean and orderly job site.
• Perform project cleanup at client site and vehicle.
• Maintain safety at all times and participate in training.
• Lead crew through safe, effective installations; provide support.
